Spy Hop Productions provides summer workshops that are a perfect way to try out all kinds of technology. Immerse yourself in film, music, beatmaking, animation, songwriting or 3D game design.
Run through the University of Utah’s Youth Education Program, Spy Hop summer workshops for students age 7 – 16 and offer 3-6 hours per day of your favorite things. Take one class, or string a few together, there is bound to be a way to play…

Filmmaking Intensive: Zombies Attack!!
Working from a written script, you’ll learn about camera techniques, special effects and sound then move into postproduction to edit, add music, sound effects and graphics. See every aspect of movie making by sharing roles on set to shoot and edit a KILLER zombie movie in just five days.

Bring your imagination, and your clay, to life in this introduction to animation class. Write, produce and direct a short claymation piece involving your own hand-built clay figures and set designs. Learn to synchronize your clay creations to music and sound effects on your computer. The end product will be a short film that will wow friends and family.
