We are super psyched to share an exciting update about summer 2024 at Spy Hop!
This summer, we’re expanding the free teen programs we offer (ages 12 – 19) and we’ve extended our summer camps to be 2 weeks long (ages 9 – 12)!
FREE TEEN SUMMER PROGRAMS (AGES 12 – 19)
Registration for any of our free teen summer programs opens March 20th!
FOUNDATIONAL CLASSES: (ages 12 – 14 & 15 – 19)
For summer only, we’re shifting our short, foundational class model: we’re offering free, half-day, 3-week long (M – Th) classes in film, audio, music, or design! We’ve got some awesome stuff lined up for the summer! 😎
BOOTCAMPS: (ages 15 – 19)
Check out the two incredible bootcamps we have on schedule this summer. Reel Stories is a documentary film bootcamp, perfect for first-time filmmakers looking to tell stories that matter to them. Music Journalism is an audio & music bootcamp for aspiring journalists, people who love music, or both!
APPRENTICESHIPS: (ages 15 – 19)
This summer, we’re running our apprenticeships in film, audio, music promotion, or design! Apprentices get real-world experience and earn a stipend. It’s basically a super cool summer job.
SUMMER CAMPS (AGES 12 – 19) ☀️
From wacky to silly, to uber-cool and ultra creative, creativity runs free in our camps; explore movie-making, animation, music, video games, and more! Plus, we’ve partnered up with some neat community orgs for even more fun.
Registration opens Wednesday, March 13th at 9am.
- 2-week camps: daily from 9AM – 3:30PM (early drop off available at 8:30AM)
- Ages 9 – 12 (3rd – 6th grade)
- Cost: $650
- All camps start at Spy Hop, some end at a partner location — see specific camps for details!

Wondering how to get here? Go green! Our building is literally right next to TRAX (all lines pass through this stop!) , and the 9-line bus route stops at our front door. Current Spy Hop students can get free public transit passes: just talk to your mentor or to the front desk!
