Jeremy was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a teenage musician he played an active part in the underground musical community both locally and nationally while writing, touring and playing in the bands Insight and Iceburn. After releasing a few singles on the Chicago based label, Victory Records, Jeremy decided his musical calling lay outside his hometown.
Landing in Brooklyn, NY in 1994, Jeremy began his new life by auditioning for local super-group Handsome. After landing the job as lead singer, he began working relentlessly with the band over the following 3 years touring and releasing an album on Epic Records. As Handsome became increasingly less functional, Jeremy found a new musical outlet forming and playing bass in Jets To Brazil in 1997.
The Jets released 3 full-length albums and toured the world over the course of 7 years before disbanding in 2003. Jeremy then moved to Chapel Hill, NC to concentrate on his own project, Cub Country while taking over bass duties for NY band Helmet for their 2004 / 2005 world tours.
Finally, after a short stint living in Seattle, Jeremy moved back to SLC in 2006 to concentrate on a 3rd Cub Country album and making a home.
In 2008 Jeremy landed at Spy Hop Productions as the new musical arts instructor where he'll bring his experience and knowledge of the industry to share in the making of Spy Hop Records and a new band program called Musicology.
