
Graphic Design, game design, computer animation, interactive design – all examples of programs and skills you can learn in Spy Hop’s Design program. Using the latest iMac computers in our light filled studio, you will have access to professional software and mentors as well as a new circle of friends who speak the same language you do. New classes starting every month in Unity 3D, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Here at Spy Hop Productions we use professional grade software and equipment such as Adobe Photoshop, Unity 3D, Adobe After Effects all on Apple iMacs.
This five-month program lets you get paid doing what you love. The Design Apprenticeship gives students gain fundamental knowledge and hands on experience with professional software, with professional mentors. Ages 14 – 19
Apprentices will work together to create video games, websites, and graphic design using Flash, Illustrator, Unity 3D and Photoshop. As a Design Apprentice, you will create a project for a local business, collaborate with audio engineers on game design projects and create personal projects along the way.
Previous Design Apprenticeship projects have included Motion Graphics Animation for Park City TV, a video game for the Salt Lake County Division of Youth Services and print design for stickers, posters, and t-shirts.
These three-week workshops gives students the opportunity to try new things, learn new skills and be able to jump in to Spy Hop more quickly. Ages 13 – 19
3D GAME DESIGN: – Want to be the ultimate game master? Create your own 3D world wherever your creativity takes you. A variety of game design workshops are offered throughout the year: Virtual Worlds: First person exploration game, Fast Track: Racing/Driving game, Fantasy Physics: Physics games like Angry Birds, Space Flight: Space/Flying game.
DIGITAL PRESS: Poster Design – Create a poster for an upcoming Salt Lake City concert or movie. Collaborate with the local screen-printing pros at Copperplate Printing for professional screen-printing lessons and create your signed limited edition collection.
