Spy Hop Productions is a not-for-profit youth media arts and educational enrichment center located in the historic Artspace district of downtown Salt Lake City. Our mission is to cultivate the visions and voices of an emerging generation via the big screen, the airwaves, and the world-wide-web.

Spy Hop is committed to the following organizational objectives:

• To provide youth (k-12) with safe after-school and summer time multimedia arts education programs in film/video production, audio engineering and interactive design
• To promote positive youth interaction and hands-on learning experiences with professional media arts mentors
• To grant access to and instruction in the latest digital technologies and to close the “digital divide” by serving underserved youth from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds through multimedia arts education
• To promote media literacy, youth leadership, and a sense of community
• To develop critical learning traits in youth (problem solving, independent and critical thinking, organizational skills, team-building, and self-confidence)
